Taking Care of your Beaded Charm Bracelet

Beaded charm bracelets are just like regular charm bracelets, except stronger and the charms are attached to beads, rather than loops. Even though it’s durable, there are still some things you have to do to take care of it. Don’t worry though – taking care of your beaded charm bracelet is so easy that you won’t have to worry about breaking it.

First thing is first. If you have jewelry cleaner but you don’t use it for your other jewelry, throw it out. You won’t need it for your new bracelet. Get yourself a good toothbrush and some warm, soapy water for cleaning purposes. Soaking the bracelet is an option as well, but only for ten minutes and then you must brush it and rinse it off. You can find cleaners for these specific bracelets at your local jewelry store. Some stores will even clean it for you, should you have any apprehensions.

Keeping your bracelet away from chemicals is a must, as well. If you’re cleaning your pool or doing dishes, take the bracelet off and place it in your jewelry box. Don’t wear it in the pool or hot tub either, or while you’re cleaning, working out, or participating in any outdoor activity.

Is your bracelet gold, silver, or leather? Leather bands require a little extra love. You will need to keep it completely away from water, and look out for stretching. Avoid placing too many charms on the band. A good rule to go by is using less than nine charms.

Owning a beaded charm bracelet is so easy, even a jewelry wearer like yourself can do it!
